What items are exempt from free delivery in Boots’ delivery policy?

Free delivery is available on orders over a certain value, but it does not apply to gift boxing or items purchased through other shops like Boots Digital Photo and Boots Kitchen Appliances. These shops have their own delivery rates.

How long will my delivery take with Boots?

Boots offers different delivery options. Here are the details:

  • Click and Collect: If you place your order before 8pm, it will be ready for collection after 12pm the next day. Some stores may not offer this service, and during busy times or adverse weather conditions, the Click & Collect date may be extended.
  • Standard Delivery: Usually delivered within 5 working days, between 8am and 9pm. Free delivery is available on orders over £25, but certain items like gift boxing, infant formula, and items from other shops are excluded.
  • Named Day Delivery: You can select a specific weekday up to 14 days in advance for your order to be delivered, usually between 8am and 9pm.
  • Next Day Delivery: Available seven days a week on orders placed before 10pm. Usually delivered between 8am and 9pm. However, next day delivery is not available for medicines and may not be available to all postcodes.
  • BFPO (currently unavailable): Due to changes after Brexit, delivery to HM Forces is not currently offered. Mothercare/Boots is working to resolve this issue.
  • Heavy/Bulky Items: Orders containing bulky or heavy items are not eligible for free delivery and are usually delivered within 5 working days.
  • Super Heavy Items (over 50kg): Orders with super heavy items are also not eligible for free delivery. Delivery time may vary, and the supplier may contact you to arrange a convenient date and time.

Please note that some postcodes may have extended delivery times.
